Foundation

The Start of LON

Identifying an opportunity in the pulses, grains, and cereals market, Oscar Pajares formally founds Corporacion LON S.A.C. on October 11th, launching a business project focused on food import, commercialization, and distribution.

2008
First Import

Team and Initial Operations

New partners join, and LON completes its first import: green peas. Operations began in their own 1,000 m² plant in Ate, equipped with machinery to drive greater efficiency.

Brand Launch

Wholesale Market and Komilon is Born

The company positions itself in bulk sales, serving wholesale markets. That same year, Komilon is born as the first and flagship brand, remaining a cornerstone of the portfolio to this day.

Strategic Clients

Growth and New Alliances

Commercial relationships begin with Costeño, consolidating LON's reputation as a trusted supplier. The team expands for sorting processes, initially done manually on wooden tables.

Retail Expansion

Tottus, Mayorsa and Tesoro Verde

Packaging services begin for Tottus and Mayorsa, boosting co-packing as a new business line. Tesoro Verde is launched as LON's second brand, establishing a presence in the Retail sector.

Modernisation

First Optical Sorter

The first optical sorting machine is acquired at the Ate plant, a key milestone marking the optimization of production processes and the strengthening of quality standards.

Relocation to Lurin — 7,000 m²

Corporacion LON relocates to its current headquarters in the Lurin Industrial Park, featuring a 7,000 m² plant, consolidating its operational capacity and projecting long-term growth.
